'2019-11-30:NO3:The nitrate sensor is working and has reasonable light throughput, but the baseline shifted around Feb. 2019. Six profiles later, it went under ice. The baseline shift probably results from some organic “junk” on the optics. Our qc is calling the computed nitrate data bad, as a result, although the qc’d nitrate data is consistent with prior values. So the nitrate is probably useable, with a bit of additional confirmation. And it’s possible the baseline will have been restored while the float has been under ice. Not much of an issue with the chlorophyll sensor.
